It’s an old story for many of us, but I’ll say it anyway!
In June, when the summer holiday began, I felt relief, happiness because the hard time was over and the most relaxed / relaxing time of the year was there for me. You know, we all want to have time, just for ourselves…no strict schedule and all! But, after a while, when the weather became rainy and the temperatures went down, I started to miss the school. It’s kind of like prison. At first you can’t live with it, and then you can’t live without it. If you don’t know what I mean, you’ve got to watch The Shawshank Redemption (1994) ! So I’ve been waiting, along with many other students, for the school time to re-begin.
So far it’s been fun, you know: chatting with colleagues, the usual unavoidable gossip, the crowded inner yard, the long interesting speeches of our principal and mayor, new teachers, new class master, old teachers…school!
I would like to give a warm “WELCOME!” to the students of 9 A, the class where Ms. Melania Paduraru is the class master! I hope to see you soon writing posts on this blog! Believe me, it’s such a good way of practicing your English! A little advice: don’t cross some limits and you’ll have a great time with Ms. Paduraru as she is an extraordinary teacher and person (if YOU don’t make her treat you otherwise)! Don’t let 2,3,4 jerks ruin your class ! (Trust me; I’ve got a lot of experience!)
Dear reader, tell me how was your first day back to school!
